Hummus toast by @veganreset
Topped with spicy chickpeas, chopped basil and crushed red pepper. To make the spicy chickpeas, simply drain cooked chickpeas and reheat them in a pan in a little olive oil with your favorite spices like (per can of chickpeas) 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1 generous pinch sea salt, 1/2 tsp of each garlic & onion powder, 1 pinch ground pepper and a pinch of each chipotle powder, cumin and turmeric powder. Add 1-2 tbsp of hummus per slice of bread, then top with the chickpeas, fresh basil and crushed red pepper or chili flakes. Enjoy!
